THE HAVEN OF DAYTON is 25 miles up-valley from Walla Walla. The house was built in 1870 - one of the oldest homes in the area.

Complementing our Queen Anne is Victorian decor - including Empire and Eastlake style. The guest home is 25 miles from Bluewood, a ski basin in the Blue Mountains, and is two short blocks to the Touchet River and trail - a nice 1/2 mile stroll to Main Street.

Upon entering the formal living room with vintage baby grand piano, and comfy casual den, one feels the warmth and wonder of a different time. The country kitchen reflects the era and includes a newly acquired vintage stove and refrigerator.

There is a full bath downstairs and upstairs includes three rooms with a king and two full size beds. Additionally, one room includes bathroom fixtures.

There is so much to see and do in the Walla Walla wine region. Enjoy nearly 100 wineries, 3 breweries, fabulous cuisine, over 25 art galleries, museums, historic sites, antique stores in quaint downtowns, and outdoor recreation - including hiking, biking, skiing, boating, fishing, and hunting.

Between the towns of Walla Walla, Waitsburg, and Dayton enjoy the sight of rolling wheat fields and country farms. We will give you suggestions about interesting places to see along the way. Also, be sure to ask us for our winery and restaurant recommendations.

The Haven of Dayton is the perfect place for a girl's wine weekend, reunions, a winter ski trip, special birthday celebrations, a family tour of the region, or just a place to "get away from it all." We also offer specials with local restaurants for a romantic evening for two.

The Haven of Dayton is our second vacation rental in the valley. Check out the first Haven in downtown Walla Walla.
